Index Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre organised a special Genovia ISAR programme focusing on Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), IVF, ovulation, fertility and infertility management. The programme was organised to mark the completion of 75 ISAR projects and aimed to provide next-generation gynaecologists and medical students with updated knowledge, practical guidance and clinical insights in reproductive medicine. Shri Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman, Mayank Welfare Foundation, Shri Mayankraj Singh Bhadoria, Vice Chairman, Mayank Welfare Foundation, and Dr. Asha Bakshi, Vice President, ISAR, attended the programme as chief guests. Dr. Sanjeev Narang, Dean, Index Medical College, and Dr. Archana Basar, Chairperson, MP ISAR, were present as special guests. During the programme, Vice Dean Dr. Pawan Bhambani, Head of Department Dr. Pooja Devdhar and Project Coordinator Dr. Pooja Jain felicitated experts and members, including Dr. Jyoti Bangalawala, Dr. Charudatt Joshi, Dr. Brajbala Tiwari and Dr. Shweta Kaul Jha, with mementoes. The programme focused on connecting students and healthcare professionals with emerging technologies, treatment approaches and practical experiences in reproductive medicine. During the online session, Dr. Sunita Tandulwadkar, President, ISAR, highlighted the continuous advancement of IVF technologies and emphasised the responsibility of specialists to provide scientific, evidence-based and compassionate care to couples seeking parenthood. Dr. Asha Bakshi explained that the Genovia initiative was undertaken to take contemporary knowledge of reproductive science to medical colleges and young doctors. Dr. Archana Basar shared insights into infertility, ovulation-related concerns, embryology and modern ART techniques, while Dr. Pooja Devdhar highlighted the importance of keeping gynaecologists updated with advancements in reproductive science, treatment approaches and clinical practice. Dr. Pooja Jain emphasised that modern technologies combined with a scientific approach can help improve treatment planning, counselling and care for couples experiencing infertility. The online academic session witnessed participation from leading experts in the field, including Dr. Keshav Malhotra, Chairperson, Embryology; Dr. Ashish Kale, Secretary, ISAR; and Dr. Sejal Naik, National Convenor, MCM, ISAR, along with other specialists in obstetrics and gynaecology. Through expert discussions, interactive learning and knowledge-sharing sessions, the programme provided students and clinicians with an opportunity to understand the evolving landscape of IVF and ART.
