Such initiatives, they noted, help students build confidence, develop a competitive spirit, and prepare effectively for qualifying and competitive examinations. The program also marked the release of a unique and innovative book titled “Pharma Fun”, authored by senior faculty member of the Pharmacology Department, Dr. Prem Nyati. The book serves as a supplementary resource to his well-known textbook “Pharmacology Base” and reflects his 44 years of continuous teaching and learning experience. Pharma Fun is a concise yet engaging 120-page book that adopts a “learning through play” approach. It includes case studies, puzzles, crosswords, photo-based quizzes, matching exercises, stories, multiple-choice questions, and detailed answers. Dr. Nyati explained that the book encourages students to attempt repeatedly, reinforcing the idea that learning through trial and error leads to deeper understanding and academic excellence.
