
In observance of World AIDS Day, a seminar was organized at Index Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Indore, aimed at raising awareness about HIV and AIDS. The event was graced by distinguished experts including Dr. G.S. Patel, Dean of the Medical College, Dr. Arti Sahasrabuddhe, Head of the Department of Community Medicine, along with Dr. V.K. Arora, Dr. G.D. Bhide, Dr. A.K. Khatri, Dr. Nisha Singh Chauhan, Dr. Prachi Kori, Dr.Lubna Shaikh, Dr. Pooja, Tejas Jadhav, Dr.VeersinghKhare, and Dr. Vinod Chaudhary. The seminar was a collaborative effort between the Department of Community Medicine and the Department of General Medicine, and saw active participation from professors, post-graduate students, interns, and over 250 MBBS students from various departments of the college. The event aimed to educate attendees on critical aspects of HIV and AIDS, including its causes, symptoms, treatment options, and preventive measures.
