
Index Medical College Hospital successfully concluded a three-day Faculty Development Program organized under the guidelines of the National Medical Commission from 12th to 14th September. The workshop aimed to equip faculty members with the latest knowledge and skills required to implement the new Curriculum Based Medical Education (CBME) effectively.
A total of 30 faculty members from various departments participated in the workshop, receiving comprehensive training from experts from the college’s Medical Education Unit. The training covered a wide range of topics related to CBME, including curriculum design, assessment methods, and student-centered teaching strategies.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. G S Patel, Dean of Index Medical College Hospital. Renowned faculty members such as Dr. Prem Nyati, Dr. Romi Shrivastav, Dr. Rahul Tanwani, Dr. Swati Prashant, Dr. Aarti, Dr. Ramnath, Dr. Pooja Devdhar, and Dr. Shreya Nigoskar contributed to the training sessions. Dr. Pooja Reddy from the Regional Training Center attended the workshop as an NMC observer.
The successful completion of the workshop was a testament to the commitment of Index Medical College Hospital to providing quality medical education.
